Eid Series: DIY Chocolate Favors

For Eid, I like to hand-craft chocolate favors.  There are a million ways to design favors, and every year I like to do something new.  This year, I went with a colorful and festive color scheme along with decorative flowers.

What you'll need:

Glitter cardstock paper
Ribbons
Decorative flowers

You'll also need:

Scissors
Ruler
Glue gun

Creating these favors is very simple because all you need to do is measure.

Measure how much cardstock is needed to fold around the piece of chocolate you choose, this was my basic method
Cut the cardstock into individual pieces.
Fold the piece of cardstock around the chocolate to make a box/pocket and secure it with a glue gun.
Make a bow-tie shape using a piece of ribbon and stick onto the top of the box using a glue gun and place a decorative flower in the center of the bow-tie, also secured with a glue gun.

You can use these materials to create all types of favors and decorations, this was just my method for this Eid celebration.

Enjoy!
